The presentation is an exploration of what the theme of sculpture and plastic means today in art and for the museum: De Sculptura provides an insight into the work of established and younger positions, national and international artists from the Albertina's contemporary art collections, which is in the process of diversifying in terms of media and setting innovative accents.
In addition to works by Nam June Paik and Dieter Roth, Fritz Panzer's piano made of wire is also on display.
With paintings and works on paper, the Albertina Klosterneuburg is also focussing on the work of Austrian artist Martha Jungwirth, who is being warmly congratulated on her 85th birthday with this small homage.
