Three large-format canvases form the bracket around the small paintings with oil pastels: these are immediate and refined, executed with force and the gesture of the hand and finger, so the images appear pasty and impressive. A strong presence emanates from them and this is reinforced by larger formats on canvas and aluminum. The exhibition thus opens the recent creative phase Tomaskos and radiates despite - or perhaps because of - the dynamics in the painting an extreme calm.
